The Role…
Flipper was the first auto switching service in the world and is an ever changing environment, as is the energy industry! You would be responsible for delivering our 5* Trustpilot customer service, and assisting our members in getting the very best deal on their energy bills. We have now settled into our newly renovated offices in Nailsea to join up with our award winning sister company, Pelican Business Services. Your key responsibilities would be delivering excellent customer service through taking ownership and responsibility of different member contacts through telephone, email and live chat. Ensure all issues are resolved at first point of contact and identify areas for improvement in our members' journey. You will use your skills to retain each of our members with your rapport and enthusiasm. You will also have the opportunity to develop and progress yourself with coaching, 121s and our aspiring leaders timeline.

You will have a passion for going the extra mile to help our members and the business. You should have the ability to problem solve, use your initiative, multitask and work under pressure with a good attention to detail. You will be required to manage your own workload and develop yourself with the assistance of your team leader. In return we would offer you free Flipper membership to enjoy the experience and provide us with vital customer journey feedback.You’ll participate in a rolling shift pattern between the hours of 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Are you a flexible, positive and enthusiastic individual, with experience of delivering excellent customer service? If so, we have a great opportunity for you.

Flipper is committed to providing a simple and effortless energy switching service, helping our customers save time and get value for money.

This role is at the heart of our busy Customer Services Unit providing a professional, high quality service to Flipper customers. As their first point of contact, we put customers first and aim to resolve enquiries first time every time, either over the phone, email or via Live Chat. Delivering a first class service, you’ll show empathy and build rapport with the customer; making your contact memorable. You’ll have a proactive approach, reviewing customer accounts to identify and review any future problems before they arise and will take ownership of complaints to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner, following the correct procedures.

You’ll participate in a rolling shift pattern between the hours of 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Part time hours will be considered.

To succeed in this role, you’ll be a positive team player, who’s comfortable with the need to change priorities from time to time. You should have the ability to problem solve, use initiative, multitask and work under pressure with good attention to detail. Most of all, experience of delivering outstanding customer service and excellent communication skills are vital and it would be advantageous to have experience of telephone, live chat and email customer contact.
