Why do you set up an online account when you switch my supply, and how do I access it?

When we switch your supply, we'll set up an online account facility for you so you can monitor your bills and submit your meter readings online. To do this, we set up a "proxy" e-mail address, which is used as your account username — this will automatically forward you messages from your supplier that need your attention.

You can access your online account with your supplier by using the details on your profile.

We set up a proxy e-mail address with your new supplier in order to manage your services online, and forward you important e-mails that require your attention when they are received — this is the username for your online management account with your new supplier. This information is visible on your profile under "My Details", and you can see the password by clicking the "eye" button.
