Why do we ask for the login details for my online account with my current supplier?

It's the easiest way to get the information we need to switch you.

When we have login details for your online account with your energy provider, we can look at your bills online and download them in the same way you might at home. It means we don't have to request bills from you, and it speeds up your switch.

If you don't have an online account with your utility provider(s), we can set one up for you, or you can send us your latest bill to speed things up.
